March 2010: Trip to India with Swami Purohit – viaje a India

Swami Purohit y su equipo en España ya finalizando los detalles para nuestro 2º viaje a la India, previsto para Marzo 2010. Este viaje se ha planificado para incorporar el festival religioso más grande del mundo: la Kumbh Mela. El itinerario incluiría 3 noches en la Kumbh Mela y después un retiro espiritual de 8 noches en un alojamiento rural al pie de los Himalaya. La primera y última noche serían en un hotel de 4 estrellas en Nueva Delhi

Swami Purohit and the team in Spain are pleased to announce their 2nd trip to India, due to take place in March 2010, to include the largest religious festival in the world: the Kumbh Mela. The itinerary includes 3 nights in the Kumbh Mela followed by a spiritual retreat of 8 nights in rural accommodation in the foot hills of the Himalayas. The first and last nights will be spent in a 4 star hotel in New Delhi.

LA KUMBH MELA:. La Kumbh Mela es el festival hindú más importante y millones de personas participan en ella. Se celebra cuatro veces cada 12 años y en cuatro lugares sagrados distintos. La próxima Kumbh Mela se celebra en la ciudad de Haridwar entre Enero y Abril 2010 y se estima que más de 60 millones de personas acudirán.

The Kumbh Mela is the most important Hindu festival and millions of people take part in it. It takes place 4 times in every 12 years in 4 different holy places. The next Kumbh Mela will be in the holy city of Haridwar between January and April 2010 and an estimated 60 million people will participate.

SPIRITUAL RETREAT - RETIRO ESPIRITUAL
Después de las 3 noches en la Kumbh Mela nos desplazamos a los pies del los Himalaya para un retiro espiritual de 8 noches. El alojamiento será en un “guest house” una especie de casa rural, con servicios básicos pero limpios.

Alter the 3 nights in the Kumbh Mela we will travel to the foothills of the Himalayas for a spiritual retreat. We will stay here for 8 nights. Accommodation will be in a traditional guest house, with basic but clean facilities. Here we will spend the time practicing yoga and meditation, visiting the nearby temples and sacred places, trekking and enjoying nature. The exact location has still not been decided as we are still working to find the best place.

Debido a la gran demanda los precios de alojamiento para la Kumbh Mela son altos pero negociando para conseguir la mejor oferta. Se quede por debajo de los 700€ no incluye el vuelo (mas o menos 600€ ida y vuelta).

Due to the great demand for accommodation in the Kumbh Mela the prices for this part of the trip are high but they are negotiating the best offer. They will try and keep the price below 700€ not including flights (around 600€ return).
